“My daughters love the classes they attend at Lucy Griffith’s. The dedication shown by Miss Lucy in taking the time to get to know and remember details about each individual pupil along with the warm and welcoming atmosphere and professional, supportive teachers encourages pupils to develop their dance ability and grow in self-confidence.” Lisa – mum
“I love it at Lucy Griffiths, it has really helped me get more confident and I feel like I have really improved. Everyone is very friendly and I have made lots of new friends. I always look forward to my classes and I am sad when they end.” Mae, aged 11
“The teachers are so encouraging and help you in every way possible. They teach according to each individual; they know each pupil extremely well and are really caring. Since I’ve been at Lucy Griffith’s I have been offered numerous opportunities that have helped me to grow and hone my dance skills. The atmosphere is so friendly and everyone wants each other to do well. I couldn’t think of a nicer place to dance.” Amy, aged 13
“My daughter has recently joined the Lucy Griffiths Dance and Theatre Academy. We have both been impressed by how friendly the staff, other children and their parents are. We have been made to feel very welcome. The standard of teaching is extremely high and the staff are totally dedicated to the school and its pupils. They recently did a show which my daughter loved participating in and we as parents were very impressed with the quality of the performance. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who is looking for a dance school for this child.” Caroline Engles
“All 3 of my children attended, starting with pre-school classes. The girls continued until they left school at 18, having taken advanced exams and developed a real love of dance and performance. They were well taught in ballet, tap, modern dance and jazz and always encouraged to do their best by dedicated teachers who knew them well and understood them. They had many performance opportunities, with the academy, professionally and with local operatic companies and made some really good friends.” Helen Thomas
“My eldest daughter has been with Miss Lucy since 2010 (when she was 4yrs old) and my youngest since 2014. Feel so lucky to have found a dance school that my daughters love and teachers who have huge respect for. All the teachers love what they do and use dance to help bring up well rounded young people who love all the arts. Lots of performing opportunities for those that want too and she also has ex pupils now as teachers.” Emma Nagashima
“Our daughter has been dancing with Lucy Griffiths Dance & Theatre Academy for many years now. She does different classes during the week and at weekends, getting many opportunities with the Academy. She helps out on Saturday mornings with the preschool and primary classes which she really enjoys and gets a lot of satisfaction from. She has entered many types of graded exams which she has achieved very high marks in. For the last three years, she has auditioned and been cast for dance teams in Christmas pantomimes, taken part in three theatre shows produced by the Petts Wood Operatic Society, and performed in three of the Academy’s own shows.” Tracey Isaacs
“Excellent Dancing school my daughter started at 5 when the school was established. She is 26 now still does tap dancing for pleasure and her 30 months old daughter loves melody bear ballet classes now, with Ms Helen. Ms Lucy has worked very hard. She is an excellent teacher” Tara Swift
